In September 2025, the Fashion & Sustainable Future Foundation (FICFF) hosted the Sustainable Future Forum at the United Nations Headquarters in New York under the theme: “Empowering Change through Culture, Creativity & Technology.”

The event brought together international leaders, policymakers, industry pioneers, and young voices to discuss how culture, creativity, and technology can intersect to drive sustainable development.

UMY’s founder, Ms. Zhang, was invited to attend as a guest. She shared UMY’s vision of sustainability, women’s empowerment, and cultural innovation through the lens of crochet heritage.

UMY will continue to weave creativity with responsibility, working with global partners toward a sustainable future.
